Clear Your Head to Get Ahead (tha antidote to stress in the ...workplace / home office / golf course)
Martin Daubney
Delegates will learn the key benefits and importance emotions have in our everyday decision making and how the best leaders use emotional intelligence skills to get the best from their teams, and in their decision making. From here we explore how to get into the best state possible in order to be at our best, a state where we can also manage the external stressors in our life and work, and start to build our own resilience. In a way we find the muscle that needs to be exercised.
We explore the topic of coherence, what it means to be coherent and why that matters in business. I will introduce three steps to becoming coherent which we will practice, and a recommended routine for future use.

11.00 - 12.15

Workshop: CEO in Action
Association governance in times of crises
Ben Hainsworth
Toolkits and connections get us a long way, but to safely navigate through these particular waters we might also need to listen to our heart and even learn from our liver.
Ben will share his own very personal experiences at the helm of a medical association – sharing insight and anecdotes as to what approaches have worked and what might have gone better.
Areas to be addressed will include Board & Committee relations, elections and AGMs, financial planning, membership value proposition, resource management, data integration, event strategy and more – all from a multi-stakeholder point of view.
Together the group will then be encouraged to discuss our own experiences as leaders and to think about the many internal and external sources of inspiration, strength and knowledge – some well established, others less obvious.

Diversification of income: Philanthrophy (Part 1)
Valentina Guerrini
The diversification of revenue streams is becoming more important than ever before. It is likely that in the current Covid19 climate, corporate sponsorship and exhibition funding will decrease. Considering the philanthropic approach is an area that associations and non-profits want to consider as one additional or very new revenue pillar, specifically focusing on "mega-donors" who are in the wealth tiers of Very High Net Worth (VHNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW). These populations have been insulated from the economic effects of COVID-19.
Representing Wealth-X, Valentina will provide an overview of the High Net Worth population, trends that are effecting their philanthropic decisions, including their archetypes, the generational wealth transfer, and more. She will discuss the philanthropic landscape and research related to high level donor development using data that screens high-net-worth individuals and evaluates their social investment behaviors.
